The image of flying kites stays in the childhood memories of many people and has become the source of inspiration for many works of art. The vivid colours in this painting evoke a jovial mood and take us back to our childhood, when we were with our buffalo friends, listening to the mellow sounds of the bamboo flute and watching the flying kites, all in the midst of a vast field.
