Our cows eat the grasses and forage plants such as green elephant grass, stylo,* Guinea grass and banana leaves from the Li-chăn project trials. Before, they were fed with banana stems and VA06 grass only. Now the fodder is more abundant and nutritious with added ingredients. I am looking for drought-resistant plants because there is often a shortage of fodder for livestock between October and February, when there is only dry straw and banana stems. Cows do not particularly like stylo.
