Green elephant grass has been picked and used as seedlings. I could have cut it before, but I wanted to replicate this variety for other households in the village. That’s why I left the grass to mature more. The tops are fed to my cattle, while the stems are being given to my neighbours for replanting. Cattle like to eat this grass most of all and its yield is also high. The grass looks like sugarcane, and it is grown like sugarcane too.
