Previously, I planted traditional elephant grass. The yield was good, but I don't know exactly how much it was because I didn’t weigh it. Definitely the productivity was lower than that of the green elephant grass. This grass is soft. My cows love it, even the stems. In the rainy season, I usually cut it in the evening and feed the cows the following morning when it has dried out so that the cows don’t suffer from diarrhoea.
